Grand Blue Sanjyo Yanaginobanba

The collective housing consists of 80 units and is located in the heart of Kyoto, crowded with traditional Kyomachiya houses. Although much larger than the scale of Kyomachiya, its spatial organization, relationship with streets, and design details are derived mainly from accumulated wisdom found in the tradition.
