JR Ibaraki Station East Entrance Plaza

In this project, we were asked to develop a plan that could solve the site’s long-standing concerns: organizing the tangled circulation of the existing train station, passenger safety, and a lack of a public plaza in front of the station. The new plateau we designed and named “Cloud” has the architectural potential for addressing and solving further challenges at once.
