Shitennouji Junior High School

The project is an extension for newly opening a junior high school and high school to an existing elementary school. The biggest challenge in this project was managing the different scales of the existing school’s separated components with the giant volumes of the new school building. We responded to this challenge by developing an intermediate scale design to bridge the new and old.
