Wood Architecture Project

As a child, before I was aware of the notion of architecture, I saw the enormous wooden structure of Izumo Taisha. The height of the current shrine is 24 meters; however, it is speculated that it used to be over 48 meters. Since I chose the path of architectural design, I secretly continued envisioning a wooden skyscraper, and finally, my chance came to fulfill this dream.
