Kitanagoya Community Center

Unprecedented in many ways, the unique complex welfare facility houses seven departments that operate independently under one roof. A method called “weaving” was developed, loosely integrating the departments without compromising their operational performances. The spatial composition and architectural form reflect this design principle.
