Tamayu Health Spa

The public bathhouse is located in the center of the oldest hot spring resort in Japan. A 41-meter-diameter hemisphere floating in the air is supported by a long wall that faces the inns built on the site with a 16-meter height difference. The simple composition of the building is a response to the ancient history of the area.
